Martina holds a Ph.D in theoretical and computational chemistry at the University fo Bristol. Before moving to Trieste as a Boltzmann Fellow at the ICTP, where she is still currently a visitor researcher, she was research associate at King’s College London and Imperial College London. She is mainly interested in modelling the electronic and optical properties of molecular systems and materials by developing and applying multi-scale methods to achieve high accuracy with reduced computational cost.
